One People, One Barbados

If you are on holiday in Barbados on the 1st June 2009 you may witness the amazing spectacle of an unbroken human chain link – emblematic of the population’s pledge for allegiance, in real and practical ways, to make Barbados the number one place in the world.

The national anthem will be sung and prayers said. UNICEF Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean, in conjunction with the One Barbados Project will also be Inviting schools’ participation in the “One Barbados, One People - Unite For Children” human chain link around the island.
